Yummy hot and sour soup. A us that they had low sodium soy sauce. Drawback is most of their sauces on their dishes are sweet. Don't like a sweet human sauce. Great chicken dish.

Large portions. Two of us can eat one order and still have leftovers. Always fresh. Great soup crab rangoon All day combos are very reasonable.

Food is consistently good and the service is consistently fast. Can't ask for much else.

It’s your typical Americanized Chinese food, which in general I’m not fond of. Yet, I give it 5 stars for the excellent Long Life Noodle Soup, which only one other place has in KC. Chicken, shrimp, spinach, fried egg, and rice noodles in chicken broth....mmmmmm. The gals working the dining room are also fast and attentive. Great place for a quick lunch.

Love the carry out - the dining in experience leaves something to be desired. Food is generally very fresh, tasty and plentiful although not as good occasionally...generally a good choice though.

Exactly the Chinese eats we've been looking for since moving to the KC area 3 years ago. A great neighborhood Chinese Cafe.. Rice House is a clean place with courteous, fast service before and after the meal. Lunch prices and selections are very reasonable. Food is tasty and plentiful. We will definitely return.

Consistently good food.

Although the eatery is hidden from site as you drive by, it's a place that is not forgot when you have a hunger for authentic oriental foods. Served as takeout or dine-in seating as you prefer. Fast and friendly service with someone always greeting you when you enter and then when you leave. Prices vary, but as always, served hot and ready to eat.

Every dish we have ever gotten here has been great. They are very consistent which seems to be difficult for other restaurants.

I celebrated my graduation last night in this gorgeous place. Well we passed a wonderful evening and the restaurant was definitely the reason for that successful celebration. The crew cooperated in a sweet style, the cuisine was delicious and my guests were so joyful. We shall surely return for more events. Thank you very much.

Been here many times! Love this place, pretty fast to deliver great food at a relatively fair price. Their dinner combos ($8.95) come with an eggroll, crab rangoon, rice, and the main meal. I personally always get the spicy curry chicken dinner combo and it's great every time.

When ordering i specifically told the person that there is a seafood/all fish allergy. I ordered meat won tons (pork) but instead was given crab rangoons. Inedible, they went in the trash. Person at the counter was rude. I also asked that veggies to be put in separate container as noodles. They refused. I asked are they cooked together or just on top. They said cooked separately and put on top. So again i asked, can you just put them in a separate container then, they again refused. They said cooked separately but we put in same box. Another person came up to pick up their order as i waited. They told the person we didn't get what we ordered, they said we ordered this larger items. The person asked them, how many people eating? You have enough food. Rude, they want what they ordered and paid for. Will never go back. Don't go here.

The rice is good but not great, in addition the lady behind the counter gave me false information. I asked for fried rice and I was told there was only one size and was charged 9 something. I came back to the location about 7 weeks later and I was given a choice of small or large sized container. The larger container was 9 dollars but the smaller container was only 7 dollars and some change. I have had better rice for a cheaper price but to each its own!!.

Very good place to eat wonderful food

Fantastic Chinese food and a clean restaurant. Staff was very accommodating and the prices are in line with other Chinese restaurant establishments. Our whole family walked away all agreeing this is our new "go-to" Chinese restaurant.

Honestly I love this place. Hands down best Chinese food. However the staff is always rude every time I’m in. Always seem to have an attitude and don’t seem like they want to be there. I eat there regularly and this has never changed. The same person that checks out is always the one who acts like he never wants anything to do with anyone there. If he had better customer service skills I’d get them a 5.

I have only been there for lunch, but their lunch special portions are huge, and very delicious! If you like Hot and Sour soup theirs is some of the best around!

I’m a Princess Garden devotee but whenever I need fast, delicious, hot, yummy Chinese food, Rice House is fantastic!!

As far as Chinese restaurants go, I would say slightly above average. The prices are a shade higher than I am used to, but the portions are solid so I can''t complain too much. I have had an issue with takeout though, I have requested no mushrooms twice and still had my plates with mushrooms. I wouldn't mind so much, but they really use an egregious amount of mushrooms. Oh well!
